Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible's Nene Yukimori Launches New Manga on July 3

This year's 30th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine announced on Thursday that manga author Nene Yukimori (Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible) will launch a new manga titled Osananananajimi in the magazine's next issue on July 3.The new manga's story centers on childhood friends Yūichi Momose and Sumi Fujino, who were very close and always together when they were young. But now in high school, despite being classmates, the distance between them has changed. Until one day, Sumi suddenly comes to Yūichi's house.Yukimori launched the Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible manga in Weekly Young Jump in October 2019. The manga ended in March 2023, and got an epilogue chapter in its 12th and final compiled book volume published in April 2023. The manga also ran on the Shonen Jump+ website and app. Viz Media and Shueisha's MANGA Plus released the manga in English digitally. Viz Media also released the manga in print in English.The manga inspired a television anime that premiered in January 2023. HIDIVE streamed the series as it aired. The show's staff delayed all episodes past episode 6 due to the effects of COVID-19 on the production schedule, and re-aired from episode 1 in April 2023.Source: Weekly Young Jump issue 30
