Rikuya Yasuda Stars in Tune into the Midnight Heart Anime
The website for the television anime of Masakuni Igarashi's Tune In to the Midnight Heart (Mayonaka Heart Tune) manga announced on Friday that Rikuya Yasuda will star in the anime as protagonist Arisu Yamabuki. The website streamed a video featuring Yasuda, Igarashi, and anime staff members climbing Mt. Fuji with the goal of seeing the summit at sunrise to pray for the success of the anime. The anime stars: Masayuki Takahashi (Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig) is directing the anime at Gekkō, and Yukie Sugawara (Overlord) is in charge of series scripts. Tomoyuki Shitaya (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Bakuman.) is designing the characters. Kodansha's K MANGA service is publishing the manga digitally in English, and it describes the story: Igarashi (Senryū Girl, Detectives These Days Are Crazy!) launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2023.
