Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love Unveils More Cast, Opening Song in 2nd Promo Video
The official website for the television anime of mamakari's Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love (Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!) manga revealed the anime's key visual, additional cast, and second promotional video on Thursday. The video reveals and previews the opening theme song "Happy Yummy Lucky Yummy" by GANG PARADE. The newly announced cast are:The anime stars Aya Endō as Yumeko Kōda and Yūma Uchida as Keisuke Yūki. Uchida also performs the ending theme song "Watashi de Yokatta!!!" (I'm Glad It's Me!!!).Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend) is directing the anime at Marvy Jack. Aya Watatane (live-action Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love) is handling the screenplay and series composition. Atsuko Takahashi (Rainy Cocoa) is designing the characters. Takahashi is also a chief animation director along with Kyoko Kametani (Fruits Basket) and Izumi Yamanaka (Dog Signal) . Satoshi Hōno (Aggretsuko) and Karin Nakano (Even Given the Worthless "Appraiser" Class, I'm Actually the Strongest) are composing the music.The staff also includes: NTT Solmare publishes the manga in English through its MangaPlaza service, and it describes the story: mamakari launched the manga in 2019, and NTT Solmare published the manga's 13th compiled book volume digitally on June 6.
