Kako Kuwahara Appointed as New President, CEO of Nippon TV Music
Kuwahara replaces Akihiro Shimizu. Shimizu has been appointed the president of Tipness Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Nippon Television holdings that operates fitness clubs in Japan.Kuwahara was previously the Head of International Business and Head of Anime Business at Nippon TV. As the new president and CEO of Nippon TV Music, she will report to Keiichi Sawa, Nippon TV Holding's senior operating officer.Nippon TV Music was established in 1969. It manages musical works including background music and opening and ending theme songs for such anime as Hunter x Hunter, The Apothecary Diaries, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and Death Note, among others.
