Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Game's Video Teases Animation Project in September
The official YouTube channel of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog franchise began streaming an animation teaser for the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds game on Friday. The video teases a new animation project for the game coming in September. Sega first revealed the video at Anime Expo. The game will release on September 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.The game will feature guests from other Sega franchises including Hatsune Miku, Like a Dragon's Ichiban, and Persona 5's Joker. The Minecraft franchise will also appear in the game.There was a closed network test from February 22-24.Sega released the Team Sonic Racing game in May 2021 physically and digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch (with a digital-only release on PC). The game is a kart racing game featuring characters from the franchise, as well as both online multiplayer and single player modes.
