Webtoon-Based Live-Action Series S Line to Premiere in July

Korean streaming platform Wavve announced on Thursday the exclusive release of S Line, the live-action adaptation of the webtoon by author kkomabi. The series is scheduled for release in July. The original webtoon S Line explores a provocative premise: a mysterious red line — visible only to some —connects individuals who have had sexual relationships. As the red lines begin to appear, a shocking series of events unfolds. Soo-hyuk Lee plays Ji-wook Han, a detective in pursuit of the truth behind the “S Line.” Da-hee Lee stars as Gyu-jin, an eccentric high school teacher. Arin, a member of girl group OH MY GIRL, takes on the role of Hyeon-heup, a student who has been able to see the red lines since birth. S Line won the Best Music Award at the 8th Cannes International Series Festival, held on April 29. Composer Jun-oh Lee was recognized in the long-form competition category for his work on the series' soundtrack.A platform for an international release has not yet been confirmed.
