Netflix Announces Yaiba: Samurai Legend Anime's English Dub Cast

Netflix announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday the English dub cast for Yaiba: Samurai Legend (Shin Samurai-den YAIBA), the new television anime of Detective Conan creator Gōshō Aoyama's Yaiba manga. The English dub, along with dubs in Spanish (LATAM) and Brazilian Portuguese, will be available beginning August 15.Erica Mendez will play Yaiba and Rebecca Wang will play Sayaka. Craig Lee Thomas will play Kenjuro, Christopher Corey Smith will play Musashi, and Alan Lee will play Onimaru. The second cours (quarter of a year) of the anime debuted on June 28.Viz Media has licensed the anime, and the company describes the story: Aoyama launched the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday in September 1988. The series concluded in December 1993 with a total of 24 compiled book volumes.The series inspired a 52-episode anime adaptation that ran from April 1993-April 1994.
