Tower of God Side Story Urek Mazino Gets English Release This Month
WEBTOON confirmed at Anime Expo on Saturday that Urek Mazino, the first official side story from SIU's Tower of God webtoon, will be released in English starting on July 28.Originally launched in Korean on Naver WEBTOON on April 28, the series follows the untold backstory of Urek Mazino — a powerful Irregular and key figure in the Tower of God universe. The side story explores his past before entering the Tower and his drive to confront the top-ranked being, Phantaminum.Originally launched in 2010, Tower of God has surpassed 5 billion views globally. The series is published in 10 languages, including English, Japanese, and French. It has since been adapted into games, animation, and other media. The anime's first season debuted on Crunchyroll in April 2020, and the anime's second season debuted in July 2024.
