The Demon King's Daughter Is Too Kind!! Manga Gets TV Anime in 2026
Hakusensha announced on Friday that Yūya Sakamoto's The Demon King's Daughter Is Too Kind!! (Maō no Musume wa Yasashi Sugiru!!) manga is inspiring a television anime that will premiere in 2026. The anime's website is streaming a teaser promotional video for the anime, which also reveals its main cast and staff. The cast includes (Note: Character name romanizations are not official):Shigeru Chiba will narrate the anime.Masahiko Ōta is directing the anime at EMT Squared, with Takashi Aoshima overseeing the series scripts. The pair have worked together as director and writer on such comedy anime as Minami-ke, Mitsudomoe, Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, The Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura, Love Lab, Survival Game Club!, Himouto! Umaruchan, Gabriel DropOut, Uzamaid!, Onipan! and My Deer Friend Nokotan. Yūki Nakano (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear, I'm Quitting Heroing, A Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring) is designing the characters. Yasuhiro Misawa is composing the music.The manga centers on Doux, the gentle-hearted daughter of the once-merciless demon lord Ahriman, who traded in his life of conquest to be a father. Though Ahriman and his close aide Jahi attempt to teach Doux to be a proper evildoing demon, Doux ends up melting the heart of demonfolk, monsters, and humans alike.Sakamoto launched the manga in Hakusensha's Manga Park app in May 2019, and it now runs Hakusensha's Young Animal Web site.
