Alterna Vvelt -Blue Exorcist Another Story- Smartphone Game Launches in 12 Countries in English on June 25
The game will launch in English for iOS and Android in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.Aniplex announced on Wednesday the game's Japanese release on June 25, following a delay.Pre-registration is currently ongoing.The game is listed as a 3D action RPG. Aniplex of America describes the story: The game will feature returning characters from the franchise, but also new characters, including: Original manga creator Kazue Katō supervised the draft design for the characters.ESPIRIT previously revealed a Ao no Exorcist: Damned Chord smartphone game in 2018, but canceled the game in November 2020. Esprit instead stated in 2020 that it has started a new project that promises a Blue Exorcist smartphone MMORPG. Aniplex is listed for planning and distribution of the game.The franchise's most recent anime aired for two cours (quarter of a year). The first cours titled Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga (Ao no Exorcist: Yuki no Hate-hen) began airing in October 2024. Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga, the second cours, premiered on January 4. Crunchyroll streamed both anime as they aired.Katō launched the Blue Exorcist manga in Jump SQ. in 2009.
