Mafuyu Fukita's We Can't Do Just Plain Love Manga Gets Live-Action Series on July 2

DMM TV announced on Wednesday the live-action series adaptation of Mafuyu Fukita's We Can't Do Just Plain Love: She's Got a Fetish, Her Boss Has Low Self-Esteem (Tada no Renai Nanka Dekikkonai: Kojirase Jōshi to Fechina Buka) manga, which will premiere on July 2 on the Tokyo MX channel and DMM TV at 26:00 JST (effectively, July 3 at 2:00 a.m.). DMM TV also started streaming an announcement video, which reveals and previews the theme song "Myōji" by Orange Spiny Crab. The series will star Ryōsuke Yamamoto (live-action As the Gods Will, left in image above) as Tatsuki Kiritani and Utano Aoi as Sakura Yuino. Shinpei Yamazaki is directing the series and Akari Tanaka is writing the script.Tokyopop licensed the manga and will release the fourth volume on November 18. Tokyopop describes the story: Fukita launched the ongoing manga in Brite Publishing's Love Coffre perfume magazine in 2020.
